This awesome 1973 Formula with functional Ram Air is owned by Carlo Bettinelli. Carlo writes:

"I own this car now for 10 years and I always work a little on the car. It has a Ram Air setup with the open hood scoops and factory A/C, PS, PB, PW and a TH400 transmission. I put some Edelbrock parts on it and polished the heads. After that I put new springs and shocks on it and chromed some brackets from the engine compartment. The first few years I drove the car daily, but now I use it only during summer, because here in Switzerland it's very wet during the winter."

It took over 3 years to complete the restoration and has won various awards over the last few years."

Brown Trans Am (80295 bytes) This 1977 Trans Am is owned by Kelly Bruce. Kelly writes:

"Here is a picture of my 1977 T/A ... hope you like it. A brief description follows ...
1977 Trans Am, T/A 6.6, Factory 4-Speed including Hurst Shifter, 3.23 Posi-Traction Rear Axle. This car has been 'part' of our family since it was ten months old and has never seen rain or snow (no easy task here in eastern Canada), in fact, it has only seen approximately 6,000 miles in the past decade. Our Trans AM came with every factory option available except for air conditioning and aluminum wheels. Some of these options include the impressive T/A 6.6 Engine, all Power Accessories, Deluxe Interior with extremely rare Rear Center Console, Tilt Steering, Vanity Mirror, twin Map Lights and AM/FM Stereo with 8-Track Tape Player. It has never been restored and all of its original equipment is intact such as the complete 'spotless' interior, drums & shoes, rotors & pads, etc ... even three of the four head lights have never be changed. Thanks..."

"Hello, my name is Leo Beaudoin. I'm from Brockville, Ontario, Canada. I bought my 1986 Firebird in April of 1995. She is my first car. It has the original 2.8L MPFI V6, (which runs perfectly), 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. When I bought my Bird, she was in need of some TLC. In the summer of '97, I had the body completely restored. All new panels were welded in, absolutely no bondo. The engine is pretty much stock except for the ignition, which consists of Accel High Performance 8.8 Spiral Core plug wires, Accel coil and distributor (cap and rotor), AC Rapid-Fire spark plugs. I haven't really done much with the suspension except for the Edelbrock control arms that I bought last summer. I plan to buy a strut tower brace for her this year and maybe a few other goodies as well. Last spring I bought 17"x8.5" ROH ZT Alloy Rims and BFGoodrich Comp T/A P245 45 17 ZR Tires for her. Shortly afterward came the STEREO!! In the trunk I have 2 JL Audio 10W6 subs in a custom made sealed box by Q-Logic. Powering the subs is a Rockford Fosgate Punch 500a2 Amp. I have 6" Rockford Fosgate components in the kick panels at front, and 4" Rockford Fosgate components in the back. Powering the components is a Rockford Fosgate Punch 400a4 Amp. All the wiring is by Lightning Audio, as well as my 1 Farad Cap. The head unit is a Pioneer DEH-77DH, which is a din and a half. All of this was really expensive, but it sure does sound awesome! The guys at work keep bugging me to put a 350 in her. I am going to stick with my very peppy, reliable and fuel-efficient V6. I have nothing to prove. Power doesn't mean a damn thing without a great looking exterior. I have loved Firebirds since I was a little kid and I've always dreamed of owning one. Anyway, if it isn't GM, it's JUNK!!!!
FIREBIRDS RULE!!"

"Hi Jimmy, here are some pics and a little write up on my 1995 Firebird. I bought my 1995 Bright Red Firebird in May of 2001. She is my second Bird as I had to retire my '86 Firebird due to rotten frame rails. My 86 is currently up on blocks, awaiting a future restoration when time and money permits. My '95 Bird is a 3.4Litre, A4 and is loaded with pretty well all options. I removed the Monsoon stereo system, (which sucked) and transferred all my stereo equipment from my '86 to the '95. I have a MagnaFlow Catback system on order for her and can't wait to get that."

Alex Krizek owns this 1980 Trans Am. Alex writes:

"It is driven in the Czech Republic - I have not seen any other like that here. It is 1980 Trans Am, T-top with 350 Olds, Holley carburetor, and automatic transmission. It was purchased at junkyard where it was imported from Germany. A lot of restoration needed - you can see the engine."

Alex recently sent me an updated engine pic and the following info:

"There is an ongoing restoration in the process. The engine now looks a little bit better. Transmission is now at the mechanics and I hope this spring I will start cruising the Czech roads again."

Black & Gold 80' S.E. Trans Am This 1980 Trans Am belongs to Lasse Jakobsen of Hemnesberget, Norway. Its a Y-84 Special Edition TA. It was originally imported to Norway from the U.S. in 1986. Lasse bought it in 1994. It currently has over a 100k miles on the original 301 engine. This is the first American car that he has owned and believes it is the only one of its kind to be found in Norway. As in most countries American muscle cars including Pontiacs are rare with a few exceptions.
