The Firebird Gallery is extremely happy to present the first NHRA Edition
2001 Trans Am on the site. There aren't many of these running around on
the street and I'm glad we have one to showcase. This one is owned by
Michael Semon. Michael writes:
"Hello,
I noticed that you needed some 2001 pictures. Enclosed are pictures
of my 2001 Trans Am NHRA Edition that I purchased new two months ago.
I'm 19 and this is my first real car that I've had after driving the
family station wagon for the past four years. I absolutely love it.
It now has 1200 miles on it. The NHRA package consists of the 6
speed Hurst shifter, Goodyear Eagle GSC's, 16 inch chrome wheels, a power
steering cooler, and of course the badges. I have never seen another
NHRA edition and would be interested if anyone had any production
numbers."
