25th Anniversary Daytona Trans Am

25th Anniversary Daytona Trans Am
This Trans Am is a 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Limited Edition Trans Am and its owned by Keith Stephens. These cars featured a two-tone white and gray paint treatment, an Aero Package and suitable graphics. On the inside you'll find leather recaro seats, red instrument panel lighting, cruise control, only Daytona 500 mats. Only 2,500 of these unique Firebirds were produced. Keith's TA came from the factory with a cross-fire injected 305 and a 4-speed automatic transmission. This setup was swapped in favor of   a 350c.i. engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. It retains the factory leather Recaro seats, but they need to be reupholstered.

Keith would like anyone who owns one of these cars to send him an e-mail.

It isn't often that I include 6 pics of one Firebird anywhere on the site. The owner of this one was gracious enough to send me several good pics of this rare bird so I decided to add the extra pic. Ron Marlin of Marshfield, Missouri owns this very clean and rare low mileage Trans Am. Ron writes:

     "
This car features the longest title ever applied to a Trans Am.  It takes at least 10 words to describe this awesome car.  It is the rarest car I have ever owned.   It is one of about 520 five speed manual Pace Cars produced in 1983.  Around 2000 Pace cars were produced total.  It has only 33,000 miles on it and features Recaro Seats.  Its original sticker price exceeded $18,000!  I have previously owned a Buccaneer Red '73 T/A and a '78 Black SE T/A."
